first early childhood education centres in Somaliland (EcE) These centres were
established to give school children an opportunity to develop social and cognitive
skills before going to primary schools. .
phase one of this project comprised of seven schooles in five different areas in
Hargeisa. EcE units were built in those schooles

phase one started in April 2016 and was successfully delivered on time, on budget and
on quality in Sept 2016
Construction of the ECE centre was funded by Pharo Foundation, an organization which we as Hiraal has partnered up with in improving the quality of public education in Somaliland.
